ABOUT:
Ann Drew (Naomi Watts), barely surviving the recession of New York City, is looking for a lead role in her new film project, where producer Carl Denham (Jack Black) is filming on the "unknown" Skull Island. to be There I am, losing my job at Boardville. Unknown to them, it is King Kong's home. Denham and the crew boarded the ship. Also in the game is serious playwright Jack Driscoll (Adrien Brody), with whom she begins a romantic relationship.
On Skull Island, they encounter fierce natives and lands they've forgotten are full of dinosaurs and other giant beasts. The natives kidnap him and offer him as a sacrifice to the giant monkey Kong. Kong's weakness for it leads him to be captured by showman Denham and taken to New York City to perform in entertainment as before.
CAST:
Andy Serkis (motion capture), a 25-foot (7.6 m) prehistoric ape, about 100-150 years old. He is the last megaprimatoskung of his species.
Serkis also plays Lampy, the ship's cook, hairdresser and surgeon. A brave sailor, he warns Denham about rumors he's heard about Skull Island and Kong.
Naomi Watts as Ann Drew, a vaudeville actress who is desperately trying to find work. Carl first met her when he tried to steal an apple from a fruit shop. During the journey, she falls in love with Jack and develops a special relationship with Kong.
Jack Black as Carl Denham, a film director who receives a map of Skull Island. Due to his debt, Carl loses his moral compass and clings to his film to the point of ignoring safety.
Adrien Brody as Jack Driscoll, the screenwriter she falls in love with. While delivering the script to Denham, he unwittingly becomes part of the trip when he is deliberately delayed by Denham before leaving the venture. He is the only member of the crew who agrees that Kong should be left alone.
Thomas Kretschmann as Captain Inglehorn, the German captain of the venture. Inglehorn is disgusted by Denham, possibly because of his obsessive nature.
Denham's neurotic but honest personal assistant, Colin Hanks as Preston.

William Johnson as Manny, an aging vaudeville performer and fellow drug addict.
